BULK FIREWOOD
All hardwood & seasoned to perfection
Our new bulk supply of firewood is ALL HARDWOOD, and is manufactured at our plant in Baker, WV. The product does not contain any pine & the size of the wood is perfect for wood stoves. Our bulk firewood is one of the few available in the region that has been heat treated. The wood is placed in a large oven at 200 degrees until the core temperature reaches 165 degrees. This heat treating ensures that the wood is very well seasoned & has a moisture content of less than 20%. Our heat treating process ensures that wood will burn cleanly & efficiently & will light much easier than unseasoned wood.

DELIVERY POLICY
FAQs
Grant County Mulch will deliver all products directly to your driveway in a large dump truck. In accordance with our insurance company requirements, please do not ask our drivers to leave the hard surface. Damage to landscaping, septic systems, water lines or our delivery vehicle could result. There are no exceptions to this policy.

There are minimum clearances required to access your driveway for dumping. Access cannot be impeded by:

low-hanging power lines or tree limbs (when dumping, 20 feet of unimpeded overhead access is required)

arrow alleys or gates (the trucks are over 9 feet wide)
-
locked gates (gates must be unlocked in advance of arrival)
-
unsecured animals (animals must be secured in advance of arrival)

vehicles or other items blocking your driveway

If you complete your order and, upon delivery your driveway cannot be accessed and your product cannot be delivered, the product will be returned to our location. You will not be charged for the product but you WILL BE CHARGED THE DELIVERY FEE if we attempt to deliver and cannot dump the product due to access issues.

When placing your order, detailed delivery instructions regarding where the product should be dropped in your driveway must be specified. Without specific instructions, product will be dropped at driver’s discretion. Be advised that all products are dumped and usually take up a significant amount of space on your driveway (more than you think!) and exact placement is not guaranteed.

We deliver between the hours of 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday. While you may request a specific day, an exact delivery time cannot be guaranteed. While we always try to do our best to meet your expectations, occasionally issues arise that are out of our control that require your delivery day or time to be modified. If your driveway/gate is accessible, you do not have to be home for delivery. If you request to be notified when your delivery is on the way, please accept the call.

A: The fee is based on mileage.

A: Payment is due when the order is placed.

A: We accept all major credit cards.

Q: What time will you arrive to my home?
A: Orders are delivered Monday through Friday from 7AM-4PM. Factors such as location and traffic affect the delivery schedule. Therefore, we can only commit to the date and not the time of delivery. Please have your driveway clear of cars, etc. on your delivery day.

Q: Where do you drop the product?
A: All products are delivered directly to your driveway. In accordance with our insurance company requirements, please do not ask our drivers to leave the hard surface. Damage to landscaping, septic systems, water lines or our delivery vehicle could result. There are no exceptions to this policy. See Delivery Policy.

Q: Do I need to be home to accept delivery?
A: We ask for specific instructions regarding your delivery so you don’t have to be there. Without specific instructions, products will be dropped on your driveway at the driver’s discretion. If you request a call, the delivery will proceed even if we can’t reach you. Remember to have your driveway clear of cars, etc. on your delivery day.​​​​
